Rome has a strong sun-and-stone motif today: clear early around 21C, then hot and bright, peaking near 33C with rain risk close to zero. For the Colosseum and Forum, make it a water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and shade-break day; a very light layer is only useful for cooler interiors or evening.

- Rome photojournalism: World Press Photo Exhibition 2026 is at Palazzo Esposizioni Roma through 29 June, open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-20:00; it is the cleanest Daisy-interest match for a Rome day.
- Rome photography: Wanted in Rome lists Robert Mapplethorpe: Le forme della bellezza at Museo dell'Ara Pacis from 29 May to 4 October, with around 200 photographs if Daisy wants another strong photo stop.
